Making things by hand is what we do. So when we come across others who do the same we can’t help but want to share it. Ashley Willerton, is one of those artists who creates gorgeous work by hand.
He had this to say about this project "BASEMENT SPEAK GHOST SIGN":
"To celebrate the opening of their new Basement Speak bar, Newcastle's Lola Jeans and creative powerhouse Unit44 asked me to create a hand painted mural that would be in keeping with the 1920's, prohibition style interior. All the gold areas have been traditionally gilded using 23k gold leaf. "
