This classic softcover notebook from SAKAE PP ‘iroful’ series uses high-quality papers that enable the writer to express the vibrancy of ink's true colors. “Iro” is the Japanese word for “color,” which renders a playful meaning of “colorful” to express the delicate shades and the beautiful sheens of colors.

Inked lines will not bleed on this paper so the edges of lines are always crisp and sharp. This high-grade paper vividly brings out the ink’s original colors. Iroful writing paper is resistant to bleeding through and feathering so it can handle a variety of inks and pen nibs. Specially coated on both sides, so ghosting is minimal and both sides can be used.

This premium, artist-grade silky smooth paper is manufactured and treated for the perfect surface level for fountain pens and ink pens to glide across smoothly and elegantly leaving you with exceptionally crisp lines. The pages have 5 mm DOT GRID ruled paper which is processed using an innovative International Designed Patented method called “New Sub-Dot Grid” to create 5 x 5 mm graph grids. Each dot created, using this New Sub-Dot Grid method, is composed of a collection of invisible micro-dots. By creating these spaces in the dot, ink will absorb better with less ink repelling on paper. 5mm graph grid will help guide you so that your writing will always be straight with equal intervals.
