✍️ Our Design: Climatologist Ed Hawkins designed the "Warming Stripes" (also known as "Climate Stripes") as a visualization of our planet's warming over time. The progression from blue (cooler) to red (warmer) stripes portrays the long-term increase of average global temperature from 1850 (hoist side of the flag) to 2018 (fly edge). This graph is a beautiful way to display a terrifying reality and one that we're proud to print on our flags.
🧵Our flags are made from hand-selected durable polyester (most flags you'll find on the internet are cheap thin fabrics that snag easily). In our testing, we selected our fabric as the perfect flag material - anything lighter snags, and anything heavier doesn't fly as well.
