8 x 10 Handmade Italian Distressed Leather Photo Album
This distressed leather photo album is for the person who wants an antique vintage feel.
Our 8 x 10 photo album is handcrafted by Italian craftsmen in Florence. This size is great for small scrapbook projects: it is large enough to be accomodating without being overwhelming. This size will hold up to 120 4x6 or 5x7 photos, either vertical or horizontal, as shown in the illustration above.
The album contains 60 pages (30 sheets) of heavy ivory cardstock, with glassine tissue between each sheet to protect your photographs. The leather color can vary from a warm honey brown to almost black. Naturally, the album is completely archival and acid-free. Use photo mounting corners or double sided sticky dots to attach your photos to the page.

Like an old volume discovered in a Medieval monastery, the leather is timeworn, with scuffs, scrapes, uneven patches and rough spots. It is intentionally made to look older than it is. The irregular markings are not defects, but marks of character that make the album look and feel like it has had years of use. This album is a new item made to have a distressed vintage look. That means that the leather has been made to look older than it is and has markings on it to give it its unique styling. Scarring and inconsistencies in the leather are not defects but rather are what gives each piece its unique old world charm. All of our leather products will age beautifully with you.
