The paper's texture is thick and rich while its color is creamy and warm. Each book has 300 writing pages (150 sheets). The leather color can vary from a warm honey brown to almost black. Of course the book is acid free and archival so your memories will be preserved for generations to come.
Like an old volume discovered in a Medieval monastery, the leather is timeworn, with scuffs, scrapes, uneven patches and rough spots. It is intentionally made to look older than it is. The irregular markings are not defects, but marks of character that make the journal look and feel like it has had years of use.
