A Passion for Handmade Books

Hannah Brown is a bookbinder from London. "She specializes in fine bookbinding and other bespoke commissioned works.  She works with a variety of materials and found objects, creating unique and hand-crafted pieces from scratch." 

A Brazilian ad agency released a video of a notebook made with synthetic paper that simulates skin. It's not real...yet. But it's going viral, which means I wouldn't be surprised if we see a real one being marketed soon.

For the last couple weeks we had the pleasure of  having an intern, Carly, working and learning how we do things here at Jenni Bick Bookbinding. Today is her last day and she must've learned a ton because she handmade some adorable notebook necklaces for all of us.
