Jenni Bick Custom Journals, a premium journal, notebook and pen store in Washington DC, is looking to hire an Assistant Manager.
Our Assistant Manager should be personable, dynamic and engaged when working with customers and staff. We're looking for an excellent problem solver, someone able to think on their feet and maintain grace under pressure.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Managing Sales Floor Staff
- Maintaining Accurate Inventory Counts
- Merchandising Product Displays
- Training and Maintaining Customer Service Team
- Assisting with In-store, Online, and Corporate Sales Workflow
Candidates should have at least two years of retail management experience. Experience or an interest in the creative arts, writing, or journaling are also strongly preferred.
This is a full-time position, 40+ hours per week. Availability for at least one weekend day is required.

Starting Salary is $18.50 per hour. Overtime available during the holiday season.
