Barbara originates from a fine art background, and derives her inspiration from the studio setting overlooking Deptford Creek in South East London, rich in colour and texture with its boats, tides and wildlife. Barbara’s design approach is an imaginative combination of old and new concepts and (mostly natural) materials - including suedes, leathers, silks, linens and papers - with a high quality of craftsmanship to create original, tactile and delightful products.
