If you want to personalize any of our items with a company logo, use a specific font, or if your inscription runs longer than three lines, having a custom die engraved is the way to go. A custom die is also the only way we can emboss using a foreign language character set like Hebrew, Russian, Chinese...

LOGO EMBOSSING

In order to work with your logo, we will need to have a metal die engraved with your artwork, like the ones shown below, which can then be used to stamp into any leather item. There is a $150 setup charge for having the die engraved, and a $2.50 per item charge to do the stamping with it.

Once the die is made, it can be used over and over again, so your per-item pricing will obviously be better with a larger quantity of items. The $150 setup charge is a one-time cost.

We have a few other ways we can work with a logo if you are considering a non-leather item, or if you are looking for logo work done in color.

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS

After you place your order, we will prepare a digital mockup for you showing size and position of your chosen item. Of course, we are happy to tweak the design until you are satisfied. We will not send the die out for engraving until we have your approval to move forward. When emailing us your image file to use in making the die, please keep in mind the following:

Logo artwork must be solid black and white artwork with no shading.

Maximum size is 3" high x 5" wide.

Turnaround time for engraving a die is 2-3 business days.

Embossing with your die can be done in gold, silver, black, white or clear foil.

Other colors are available by special request.

We are not able to custom match colors.

Setup charge for a die is $150. This is a one-time charge.

Dies need to be made from clean, solid, black & white high-resolution artwork.

Not sure if your image will work? Send it to us and we'll take a look. We can check your artwork before you order a die and let you know if we feel it will not imprint well. We do offer graphic design services at a rate of $50 per hour (1 hour minimum) if you need help in converting your existing artwork to a usable design. But you'll save loads of time and money if you can send in a camera-ready file to begin with.

LARGE ORDER DISCOUNTS

Generally, we offer a 15% discount on orders of 50 pieces or more, but many factors can affect the discount, including personalization, your timeframe, and which item you are purchasing. We are eager to help you obtain the best possible price for your project, without compromising quality or workmanship. OTHER BUSINESS GIFT SERVICES

In addition to logo embossing, we can personalize items with names or initials. We offer gift wrapping, custom packaging, and custom design work.

AVAILABILITY AND TURNAROUND TIME

Turnaround time depends on what item you are ordering, how many, and what kind of personalization we will be doing, but for orders under 200 pieces, a good rule of thumb is 2-3 weeks.

Please bear in mind that because many of our items are handmade one-by-one by small artisan workshops, very large quantities and fast turnaround time might not be possible. We'll need to discuss availability with you regarding specific items before we can make a firm commitment.

SAMPLE POLICY

If you are considering a large order, we encourage you to order a sample item first, to be sure the product meets your needs.

We are unable to send free samples, but as long as there is no personalization on the sample item, we will gladly accept a return once you have made a decision. To purchase a sample, you can order through the website or call us.

We are glad to produce photo mockups using your logo, so you can get a good idea of what the final product will look like. In order to do this for you, we'll need a jpg or eps file with your logo artwork, or other instructions as they might apply to your order. We can create a photo mockup and email it to you to help you make a decision.

PAYMENT

All orders must be prepaid unless other arrangements are made in advance. For your convenience, we accept checks, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We are not able to extend credit terms or accept institutional purchase orders that are not accompanied by payment.

When you call or email us for a quote, please have the following information available:

What item you are interested in?

What quantity do you need?

What kind of personalization is required?

What other services are required? (ie gift wrap, shipping to multiple addresses)

What is your deadline?

When you email us, it would be helpful if you attach a graphic file of your logo to the email. Seeing the design will help us to understand your needs.
