The leather is richly and deliciously distressed with browns and Sienna reds infused in the coloring of each book. Each book is made one by one so the color of each piece will vary from a glossy dark brown to a rich light brown.
Like an old volume discovered in a Medieval monastery, the leather is timeworn, with scuffs, scrapes, uneven patches and rough spots. It is intentionally made to look older than it is. Scarring and inconsistencies in the leather are not defects but rather are what gives each piece its unique old world charm. This is a leather address book that will age beautifully with you.Personalize your address book by adding an embossed name or phrase for only $15 per line. You can personalize your book with BLIND embossing on one or two lines, up to 20 characters and spaces each. To choose this option, fill in your personalization information above. Your inscription will be positioned in the lower-right corner of the book. The font we use is Garamond, and the font size will vary depending on the number of characters you request. Blind embossing uses heat to "brand" the letters into the leather. It is a subtle look where the letters are pressed into the leather.
