How many guests does each album accommodate?
Our experience tells us that between couples, families and groups of friends that normally attend celebrations, one Adesso Album will accommodate between 60 and 75 guests.
What do I do if I have more than 60-75 guests?
You could buy more than one Adesso Album OR take larger group shots - of the guests sitting at the same table, of groups of guests that have something in common - like they all work together or they all went to high school with the honoree/s - saves on photos and space!
Who should I ask to do the album?
Lots of choices here! You can ask a good friend/s or family member provided they are outgoing and will take the job seriously to get everyone's picture and sentiment. Someone who's coming in from out of town and won't know too many people can use the Adesso Album to "mingle with a purpose" and get to meet a ton of people during the course of the event. If you don't want to impose on a friend or family member, and are using an event consultant and/or a professional photographer, you might see if for an extra fee he/she could provide an assistant during the celebration to circulate with the Adesso Album and present you with the completed album at the end of the event.
Should I have the album at a signing table and hope everyone goes there?
Oh no. People get distracted and your Adesso Album, left there on its own won't get filled unless someone is reminding people to complete their page. It's just easier for everyone if the book comes to them, rather than the other way around.
What's magic about 30?
That's about as many photos and sentiments as one person can get during an event. And that's with an Adesso Album, where you're not fiddling with tape or glue or photo corners.
What kind of pens work best?
Any archival quality pen so long as it doesn't get that "glop" of ink after it's been used for a while.
Do you find people are hesitant to write their feelings on the spot like that? Isn't it an imposition on them during a party?
Oh no! It's WAY easier for people to express themselves on a page in a book than to say something on a video recording. Once they understand what a special gift it is for the honoree/s everyone wants to participate. It's the one thing all the guests have in common - the person/s the celebration's all about!
How many albums should I get?
Our experience tells us that between couples, families and groups of friends that normally attend celebrations, one Adesso Album will accommodate between 60 and 75 guests. If you've got more guests than that, there are a couple of things you could do. You could buy more Adesso Albums OR take larger group shots - of all the guests sitting at the same table, of groups of guests that have something in common - like they all work together or they all went to high school with the honoree/s - saves on photos and space! Either way, you're going to capture the "now" of the celebration!
How many cameras should I have?
You should have a minimum of one per Adesso Album.
Why wouldn't I just use a regular photo album or a scrapbook and tape or glue or photo corner the Polaroid photos in the book?
You just answered part of the question yourself - tape, glue, photo corners - all of which take time, aren't the same on every page or every picture. PLUS, only the Adesso Albums go to the trouble (and expense) to make a die cut in each page that turns into a perfect frame for the photos you are taking, whether they are Polaroid or digital. PLUS, the Adesso Album lays flat when people are writing in it and closes flat when you're finished filling it with photos because it's designed that way. This is the world's first (and only) instant photo guest book. What are you waiting for?
