Rag & Bone has been binding books for almost 20 years. Every aspect of the binding process is handled in their Rhode Island bookbinding studio. Raw materials such as board, papers and designer textiles are sourced from local vendors and trained bookbinders carefully turn these materials into quality books which will last a lifetime.

Each book is created solely by hand: the fabrics and papers are cut by hand, the boards (covers) are glued and wrapped by skilled bookbinders. Rag & Bone Albums are each drilled and sewn by hand one-at-a-time, and assembled using traditional bookbinding tools and techniques.

Naturally, the album is acid-free and archival. And just as important, Rag & Bone skilled bookbinders create books which are well-bound, and made to last.
